Zehnder Fina style and substance meet

Presented as a lifestyle product with a minimalist design, the patented Zehnder Fina is a versatile bathroom radiator with innovative technological qualities.

• The flexible Zehnder EasyTube connections make installation easy and are perfect for refurbishments. The radiator’s connection positions are totally versatile and can be freely chosen along its length and width to fit existing pipework.
• Rapid response times made possible by its low water content and steel front placed directly on graphite gives the Zehnder Fina a clear advantage when it comes to comfortable heat distribution using low water temperature heating.
• Discrete side panels using a special spring system adapt to the wall spacing behind the radiator, concealing fully adjustable brackets and technical components
• Towel bars which can be positioned at any height are easy to fit and adjust, even after the radiator has been installed.
• The radiators are available in 5 sizes in white from stock, and to order in the many metallic, gloss and matt colours and finishes in the Zehnder colour chart.

CME REVEALS NEW VALVE TECHNOLOGY

CME, a Wirquin Group Company, has introduced a new range of Jollyflush Single and Dual Flush Valves, which are designed to be easy to install, as well as to be user friendly and water efficient.

The Jollyflush Single Flush Valve, which is Document M-compliant, features a single flush push button that stands 20mm upright for ease of use and is ideal for people with limited mobility and flushes with minimal pressure. The Dual Flush option is a water-saving flushing valve which offers full flush adjustment, making it ideal for sustainable applications.

Both the Jollyflush Single and Dual Flush Valves share a number of benefits, including quick and easy installation and maintenance, as the cistern lid can be removed for inspection. The flexible cable allows for off-centre button installation as, conveniently, the outlet of the cistern does not have to be in line with the push button. The push button can be fitted in the cistern lid or at the front of the cistern. The valve comes with a flexible grey cable, which works on a pull system and is versatile enough to fit cisterns with a height range of 300-420mm.

Jollyflush is WRAS-approved and produces flush rates of 2.2 litres per second. It has a removable top for easy maintenance and is available in 1.5” and 2” versions. The adjustable telescopic overflow allows for easy installation and makes it ideal for retro-fit situations.  A universal Jollyflush kit is available including Jollyfill inlet valve – all in one pack, which is less to stock in the branch or to store in the van. The Jollyfill valves come with a 10 year guarantee giving customers complete confidence in the product.

Another key product feature of the inlet valve is the delayed action. This provides greater water efficiency, which is especially important in areas where water is metered as the financial payback can be just a couple of years. Delayed action inlet valves work in such a way that when the cistern is filling, the water rises inside it and fills the inlet valve cup, which lifts the float and shuts the inlet valve off. When flushed, the inlet valve will not open until the water has drained from the cup, so delaying the opening of the inlet valve, which results in it saving water.

The Jollyflush valves have been designed for practical and easy adjustment, which means they can be unclipped and re-clipped at the appropriate height. The valves are suitable for a wide range of different water pressures, from 0.1 to 16 bar.

There is also the option of a side entry inlet valve, which is suitable for modern, slimline cisterns. The float protection provided avoids the float jamming and blocking up the cistern. The valve is also extremely compact and suitable for low and high pressures, being resistant to peaks of pressure (up to 20 bar). Another major benefit is that it provides fast, silent filling, making it convenient for the user and minimising any noise disturbance.

Also new to the range is the Topy valve, which is a side entry inlet valve that features a compact design suitable for space saving cisterns. It features easy volume flush adjustment by rotating the float and is suitable for both low and high pressures.

Mick Kirby, Product Manager for CME Sanitary Systems, said: “These valves are ideal for many different applications – both new installations and retrofit. They are extremely versatile – with the option to meet Document M applications and projects requiring water efficiency. These latest additions to our range are designed to bring huge benefits, both to the installer and the user and we are expecting a huge response over the coming weeks.”

The products are backed by the technical and after sales support of CME. With its own UK-based testing facilities and Wirquin Group backing, the company is constantly seeking to develop new products providing customers with access to even more innovative and sustainable solutions.
