Toupret’s exterior powder fillers can handle a far wider range of repairs than most people realise. All three powder fillers mix on site, apply to any depth in a single coat, and can be shaped by hand without formwork. That means that jobs that require filling, shaping and repairing are all achievable with a single filler and a trowel with no multiple application stages.
As well as being able to carry out these kinds of repairs, each filler has its own unique capabilities. Masonry Repair Filler, for example, adheres to damp substrates, which is commonly found in older housing, north-facing substrates and surfaces that have held moisture after wet weather. It is formulated specifically for bare masonry, so it is the product to specify when working back to the substrate. Worth noting: Masonry Repair should not be applied over painted surfaces, so it is the one to reach for when you are starting from scratch on the wall itself.
For repairs on existing painted surfaces, both Rock Solid Repair Filler and Tough Multi-Filler are your go-to. Their ability to adhere to paintwork opens up a significant range of patch and repair work that would otherwise require a full strip-back. Rock Solid Repair Filler sets hard and is the right call for heavy duty repairs in areas that demand strength – corners, window sill ledges, exposed copings, and other details that take the brunt of weathering.
Tough Multi-Filler is the versatile option – and the only one in the range that handles both filling and skimming. Fibre reinforced for added strength, it takes a surface from repair to a finish-ready skim in a single product, with paint-next-day capability that keeps the decorating schedule on track.
