REHAU is one of more than 100 organisations exhibiting at the Vision London event from 2nd to 3rd June at Olympia.
The purpose of Vision is to showcase innovative building products, materials and technology to an audience of architects, specifiers and clients, and to demonstrate new and inventive ways of achieving better building design which complies with changing legislation.
In line with this, on stand 59, REHAU is focusing on its range of energy efficient commercial fenestration solutions which use both PVC-U and composite materials.
REHAU’s team will be talking to visitors about how these products are already being used by some of the UK’s leading house builders and commercial developers, and will be showing how REHAU’s own brand of technical knowledge and ‘KnowHau’ can add value to the specification process.
The products on the stand will show the breadth of REHAU’s range – from its REHAU Polytec 50 composite curtain walling system, which has just gained Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT) approval, to its REHAU TOTAL70C casement window system which can achieve a U-Value of just 0.8 W/m²K using triple glazed Argon sealed units.
Visitors will also be able to see samples of REHAU’s innovative window systems extruded in its RAU-FIPRO® fibre composite material – similar to the high performance, high strength materials used in aircraft design and Formula 1 race cars. Because RAU-FIPRO® offers high torsional stiffness, it eliminates the requirement for metal reinforcement in most frames and means that much higher thermal performance can be achieved than in conventionally reinforced PVC-U because there are none of the usual thermal bridges through which energy can be lost.
On display in RAU-FIPRO® will be the Passivhaus certified GENEO window system for tilt and turn windows and doors and the Scandinavian REHAU Nordic Design Plus flush fit window system, which can be used either in contemporary multi-occupancy settings or as a replacement for flush fitting timber in traditional cottage type properties.
Vision will be the first showing in the UK of a new version of GENEO with an aluminium top (ALU-TOP). This has an aluminium cladding applied to the exterior giving the system all of the strength and thermal performance benefits of RAU-FIPRO® combined with the contemporary aesthetics of aluminium.
REHAU’s solutions combine market leading thermal performance with stylish aesthetics and there will also be samples of the colour options available on all of REHAU’s systems – from foils to acrylic and powder coating.
